The pandemic may have ended, but for many women, its impact did not.
Women have continued to carry the emotional, physical, financial and social effects of COVID while caring for families, rebuilding careers, managing health changes and trying to reconnect with the person they were before everything changed.
Women After COVID: Rebuilding Together is a supportive Project COFFE programme designed to help women restore their confidence, improve their wellbeing and create meaningful connections within their community.
A space to pause, heal and move forward
Many women experienced increased isolation, anxiety, loss, burnout and low confidence during and after the pandemic. Others faced changes to their health, employment, relationships or family responsibilities.
This programme creates a safe, welcoming space where women can speak openly, learn practical tools and take positive steps towards a healthier and more confident future.
It is not about returning to who you were before COVID. It is about recognising everything you have survived, rediscovering your strengths and deciding what you want your next chapter to look like.
What the programme will explore
Through workshops, creative activities and supportive conversations, participants will explore:
- Confidence and self-worth
- Mental health and emotional resilience
- Menopause, perimenopause and women’s health
- Nutrition and physical wellbeing
- Healing through creativity
- Healthy relationships, boundaries and red flags
- Isolation, friendship and community connection
- Skills, personal development and future opportunities
Each session will be practical, inclusive and shaped around the real experiences of women.
More than a series of workshops
Women After COVID is about building a community where women feel seen, supported and understood.
Participants will have opportunities to connect with other women, share experiences without judgement and learn from facilitators with knowledge across wellbeing, creativity, health and personal development.
The programme will also include creative expression, group activities and opportunities for women to recognise their progress and celebrate their achievements.
Who is the programme for?
The programme is open to women who want to improve their wellbeing, rebuild their confidence or feel more connected to others.
It will particularly support women who have experienced isolation, health inequalities, emotional challenges, domestic abuse recovery, career disruption or barriers to accessing opportunities.
You do not need to have everything figured out. You only need to be ready to take the first step.
Rebuilding together
Healing does not always happen alone.
Sometimes it begins with an honest conversation, a creative activity, a new connection or the realisation that other women understand what you have been carrying.
Women After COVID will create space for women to reflect, reconnect and move forward together—with greater confidence, stronger support networks and renewed hope for the future.
